My name is Kennith Hartsaw, and I’ve dedicated my career to the art and science of exceptional car audio. As a passionate competitor in Sound Quality (SQ) competitions across the U.S., I’ve had the privilege of showcasing my expertise through organizations like EMMA, IASCA, MASQ, and others. These experiences have honed my skills and fueled my commitment to delivering unparalleled audio experiences to every customer I serve.
My Story
My passion for car audio began in the mid-1990s when my father took me and my brothers to the Houston AutoRama, which also featured a car audio sound-off competition. It was there that I encountered the iconic Rockford Fosgate Astro Van, crafted by the legendary Mark Fukuda, and I was instantly hooked.
Growing up, my parents encouraged my curiosity, even letting me experiment with car audio in their vehicles. Those early experiences (apologies again for the dash lights on the Delta 88, Dad!) laid the foundation for a lifelong love of sound engineering.
After high school, life pulled me in other directions, and I spent years building a successful career as a Process Operator in the chemical industry. In 2016, I purchased a new truck equipped with a “premium” BOSE system. Unimpressed, I saw an opportunity to channel my passion and skills into creating something far superior. What began as a personal challenge soon evolved into designing and building custom audio systems for friends and colleagues.
Recognizing the growing demand for truly exceptional car audio solutions, I founded Gilldon Audio. Today, my mission is to deliver tailored, high-performance sound systems that exceed expectations. Whether it’s seamless OEM integration or achieving unmatched sound quality, Gilldon Audio reflects my dedication to precision, creativity, and customer satisfaction.
